Specialist course - study extensively    Flavor/Fragrance course

Curriculum that transcends basic academic skills. Study from basics regardless of your background.

In order to acquire basic and applied skills in this course to become professionals with lifetime employment, students will systematically learn from the beginners' stage to:
Practice memorizing each smell of fragrance (individual fragrance, natural/synthetic).
Practice mixing fragrances to create blended fragrances.
Acquire application skills for adding blended fragrances to food and cosmetics to commercialize those products.
Also, our lecturers with 40-50 years of practical industry experience will teach subjects such as basic chemistry, fragrance study, food and perfumery hygiene manufacturing study to further your knowledge.

Study blending skills of flavor (food) and fragrance (perfume/cosmetic) in parallel.

We have implemented the world's first curriculum to acquire both flavor and fragrance skills. This enables our graduates to be successful in a wide range of fields such as fragrance, food and cosmetic industries.

Memorize individual fragrances and accords

* accord = balance when blending fragrances

Practice blending fragrances (systematically study world's top 50 fragrances)
Practice cosmetic manufacturing

More than 80% of the time is spent on practice

In order to train technical experts who will be successful in the real world, more than 80% of class time is spent on practice. Lecturers with many years of practical experience in the industry will teach the know-how they developed on-site.

Acquire food and cosmetics development skills

Technical flavorists and perfumers need skills to evaluate how a blended flavor or fragrance that was introduced into food or cosmetic will perform in the finished product. Therefore, our students systematically learn how to develop from combinations in food and cosmetics. The main foods used are chewing gums, candies, beverages and baked snacks while the main cosmetics used are shampoo, hair conditioner, cream and lotion. Students will acquire blending skills with balance in mind between flavor/fragrance and products as well as skills to be able to develop products.
